Description

Bring a touch of nature to your aquatic world with this highly detailed ancient tree stump hideout.

Designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, this model features an organic, bark-like texture that looks stunning under aquarium lighting. The base is engineered with multiple swim-through arches, providing the perfect sanctuary and breeding ground for shrimp, small fish, and bottom-dwellers like plecos or loaches.

Multiple Entrances: Numerous openings of various sizes to reduce fish stress and promote natural behavior.

Specifications

Height: 16 cm

Scalability: Can be easily scaled up or down in your slicer to fit nano tanks or larger setups.

Recommended Print Settings

Material: PETG is highly recommended for aquarium use as it is more chemically stable and water-resistant than standard PLA. If using PLA, ensure it is high-quality and free of toxic additives.
Layer Height: 0.12mm – 0.16mm (to capture the fine bark details).
Infill: 5-15% Gyroid or grid is recommended.
Supports: Minimal. Depending on your printer's bridging capabilities, you may need small "tree supports" for the very top of the lower arches.
Wall Loops: 2-4 walls for better durability.

absolut it works with PLA the model in the pictures is printed in it. Just keep in mind that you need to increase infill if you don't attach anything underneath so it doesn't float 👍
