Introduction: This is a practical upgrade accessory designed for the Creality K1, K1C, and K1SE. The main purpose of the design is to solve the problem of insufficient space at the top of the original machine, which causes the drag chain

and PTFE tube to rub against the glass top cover. Additionally, to facilitate PLA printing, I designed a **magnetic** ventilation cover on the front

Main Features:

• ✅ Protects Drag Chain and PTFE Tube: Raises the height of the glass top cover, providing enough clearance for the print head harness and PTFE tube, preventing them from rubbing against the top cover
• ✅ Magnetic Front Cover Design: The front panel features a magnetic design. It can be easily removed when printing PLA to increase airflow
• ✅ Acrylic Top Cover: Since my machine is a K1Se and does not come with an enclosure as standard, I custom-ordered a 5mm thick acrylic panel, which offers good load-bearing capacity
• ✅ Includes Handle: A matching handle for the glass top cover is included, making it easy to remove and replace

BOM: You will need the following magnets to assemble the front cover:

• Round magnets: 5 mm diameter x 3 mm thickness, Quantity: 12
• Strong glue (for securing magnets)

Print Recommendations:

• Material: Strongly recommended to use PETG, ABS, or ASA
  • Note: Due to rising heat at the top of the machine, PLA material may deform over time from heat exposure; printing the main body with PLA is not recommended
• Infill: 15% - 20% is sufficient
