Description
An LED Clock made using the previously previously published amblem.
There are a few issues.
- Due to the high energy consumption of the leds, there are no internal batteries meaning it needs external power.
- Even in the 3 led mode it will deplete a 3000 mah 18650 battery lasts about 8 hours.
- The RTC module has its own cell battery. Time will be kept when not externally powered.
- Made with random electronics. You can use your own design, it just needs to support the 60 led ring for clock.
- Used components:
- Arduino nano. Used one with Atmega168p.
- DS 3231 RTC module.
- Nokia LCD screen.
- 3 push buttons.
- 60 LED neopixel ring.
- 7x9 cm prototyping board.
- Type-C socket.
- Cables.
- Used components:
Options:
- LEDs visible, flat surface.
- LEDs hidden, flat surface.
- LEDs visible, inserted amblem and stars.
- LEDs hidden, inserted amblem and stars.
Important: If you are planning to print a hidden led versions, use a light color otherwise the led may not be able to shine through the plastic.
