Description

A futuristic voxel-style LED lamp inspired by digital rain and data streams.
Designed as a modular 3D-printable object with strong visual impact in dark environments.
Optimized for clean FDM printing and easy LED integration with the Bambu Lab Kit 001.

If you don't have an RGB lamp kit, you can of course print the diffuser in your desired color and you will have a similar experience to using an RGB LED.

CUBE mini (Dimension 12cm x 20cm) is a futuristic voxel-based LED lamp inspired by digital rain, data streams, and generative architecture.

The cascading voxel structure creates a strong sense of motion and depth, while the internal lighting transforms the object into a striking desk or ambient lamp.
Designed specifically for FDM 3D printing, the model focuses on clean geometry, modular construction, and reliable printability.

The lamp works especially well in darker environments, where the voxel cascade and internal glow create a unique visual effect.

Printing

  • No supports required
  • Optimized for FDM printing
  • Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Tested with PLA (opaque + translucent)
  • Modular parts – easy reprint if needed
  • Recommended 0.2mm nozzle for the Cube mini logo (0.4 works too, but extra fine layer height with 0.08mm)

Material

  • Opaque PLA for structural parts
  • white PLA or Glow in the dark PLA

Lamp Assembly:

  • Remove the support material from the bottom of the lamp and deburr the cable guide with a deburring tool.
  • Unscrew the LED cover from the Bambu Kit 001 and replace the diffuser with the Cube Diffuser.
  • Feed the LED cable through the bottom part and thread it through the cable guide.
  • Connect the top and bottom parts of the lamp using the printed connector. The parts should fit snugly; a little glue will further enhance the connection.
  • There are recesses on the bottom of the lamp for plastic buffers. To attach these, simply remove the support material.
  • Turn on the lamp and enjoy!
