Description
A robust and secure end cap for your 40x40 aluminum profile structures (standard 4040 Type, 8mm slot).
Unlike classic caps that can fall off over time or due to vibrations, this model is designed to be screwed on. It features 4 counterbored (milled) holes aligned with the central holes of the profile.
Advantages:
- Clean Finish: Hides cuts and prevents sharp aluminum edges.
- Ultra-Solid Fastening: Does not move once screwed. Ideal for machines or structures subject to vibrations.
🛠️ Assembly: Requires tapping the 4 central holes at the end of your profile (generally M5 or M6 depending on your profile type) and using 4 corresponding cap head screws (CHC/BHC).
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings:
- Orientation: Print the flat side against the build plate (as shown in the photos of the object alone).
- Supports: Not required.
- Material: PLA is sufficient for finishing, PETG or ASA recommended for better impact resistance or outdoor use.
