Description

A simple four-piece herb/tobacco grinder with a kief/pollen catcher!  You will need two D5x3mm magnets press fitted and/or glued and a fine mesh screen (80-200 mesh, 140 recommended).  The screen will need to be glued in place over the lip near the bottom of the middle part b.  You could also pause the print and embed the mesh into the print when it prints the lip.  If you have any questions, feel free to send a message to me.  This model can be adapted and sold commercially.  Thank you for your support.  Enjoy!

*** Top and bottom with knurling and logo have been added as an option! ***

*** Three sizes for tobacco/herb chamber***

*** Optional printable coarse filter now available ***

Note about kief filter mesh:

A stainless-steel (copper is also a safe option) cloth with 150 mesh rating will produce a very fine kief collection and may require frequent cleaning and clogs may occur. For the most kief but with some green plant matter still passing the filter an 80 mesh works well.  I recommend a 100-140 mesh for a balanced high purity kief collection but feel free to customize your kief catcher to fit your needs.  I do not recommend exceeding 150 mesh for practicality purposes.  200+ is useable but will clog frequently and catch a very small amount of kief over a long period of time.  80-100 mesh will catch the most kief in a short period of time, but there will be some green plant matter mixed in.  140 is a commonly used size in the industry and is my recommendation when you can find it.  Below is linked an example of an acceptable material available on Amazon.  It is 150 mesh, but 140 is somewhat difficult to find in rolls there.  The next best option would be 120 mesh.  Again, feel free to customize the filter to fit your desire, remix, share, print, sell, enjoy!
