Interior for the 1st Class D-train car Märklin 4023 (green), 4027, 4032, 4011 (blue)

Märklin, and thus Primex, delivered passenger cars without interiors well into the 1970s. Therefore, model railway trains with cars without and with interiors were normal in my childhood. Now, vehicles with interiors predominate, yet the old cars are dear to my heart. So, I developed an interior based on the 1st Class D-train car. This is also suitable for all cars based on the 4023.

The interior is divided into segments so that they can be inserted through the opened car roof. Because vehicles without an interior have a wall with a rebate in the middle, please pay attention to the cutout in one of the compartments. Two compartments are inserted first, away from the central wall. Then the toilet, and then, away from the toilet, the missing compartments (note the light cutouts and cable routing!).

Only suitable for 1st class vehicles with a length of 24 cm and corresponding window arrangement!
