  • 18650 rechargeable battery x 1: 3.7 V may need some resistors for longer use
  • Magnets or connectors x 2: I used magnets to connect the 2 LED strips directly to the battery, as the battery was not fully charged. You should consider using an appropriate power for the LEDs

Description

This fun radioactive rod torch appeared in a lot of The Simpsons cartoon episods during years. It was mostly used with a clamp similar to the one in this model.

2 print beds as for the best results the Plutonium Rod should be printed in Spiral Vase mode so light will pass thru it. For even better results use Glow in dark green filament. The other print bed is got the Cap and for the Clamp (print in place with .2 mm gap).

I used a simple 18650 that had 2 x 300 mm led silicon bands connected to it using the magnets from CyberBrick set. One should work is the filament is more transparent than mine :)
