  • Hoto Wand x 1: Purchased mine at Costco

Description

I purchased the super-useful Hoto Wand Cordless Spin Scrubber for my bathroom and wanted to have a place to keep all of the attachments. This stand employs magnets to hold the scrubbing heads when not in use and an upright stand with a drain hole to dry the wand after use.

I measured each of the scrubbing heads to fit neatly spaced in the order shown in the photo.

Mine is printed in ABS, but it'll work in any material.

Print Settings:

.20mm Layer Height
20% Gyroid Infill
Tree Supports

BOM:

x5 - 10mm(w) x 2mm(d) magnets (superglued into the rear recesses shown in blue in the close-up digital photo)

Bought one from Costco. Was disappointed it didnt have a holder. Was going to make one, but decided to search here and found this masterpiece! Everything fit great and it looks like it should have came with the brush. I did eliminate the supports by placing it in front of the Aux fan and used the modified G-codes to turn it on and off for the small over hangs. Printed nicely like this. Thanks for sharing this great design! You should try to sell it to Hoto :)

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I knew when I designed it for myself that others might benefit. Selling a design might be financially rewarding, but seeing others print it and get some use and satisfaction is a far better dopamine hit for me.

Works like it should. Would be cool to have a snap in version as well instead of magnets.

I considered that option, but didn’t want to have the friction connection become loose over time and have the heads falling off. It uses magnets to connect to the head so I used the same to store them.

Yeah, I thought about that as well. Would need to be more of a clip connection. I do prefer the magnets. was just a thought for those that didn’t have magnets. luckily I have a ton of them, lol.

Thank you! I thought it’d be a nice useful project to introduce people to magnets in 3d prints. Your print looks sweet! Enjoy and thanks for the boost!

Feels more like a product I could buy than a 3D print. Amazing work, thanks for sharing!

Printed on a P1S using Inland PLA+ in Silver on a Cryogrip Pro plate. Two minor tweaks I made to settings were: Sparse Infill Pattern = Tri-Hexagonal (Hexagons are Bestagons) Advanced > Infill Combination = Selected checkbox Total print time was 2h23 mins, no issues with print or fitment and it looks great! Thanks for sharing the file!

Thank you. I designed this months ago but didn't post it because I didn't think anyone else would need something like this.
