Description

This is a set of spacers for plantation style window blinds with clip style mounts.  I needed these to offset the mounts, after installing thicker window trim, which would not allow the blinds to be mounted directly to the wall.

These are designed for the clip type blinds (see pic).

If you need something similar for the box mount blinds, you can find those at the link below:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/2121722-plantation-blind-mount-spacers-valance-connector#profileId-2296693

There are several types of spacers included, and all provide a 14.25mm offset from the wall.  If you use these spacers, please keep in mind that they will require longer screws.  These may not be suitable for all blind installs, since they were only made for the blinds I'm using.

I don't suggest using these on especially heavy window blinds.  Use your best judgement to decide if they will be appropriate for use with your blinds.  Use these models at your own risk.

Included in the 3mf are a dual mount (for mounting blinds end to end) and a single mount.  There are three types of each mount included, which are a basic design (plate 1), a design which I used and has a countour to match the trim I was using - this was unique for my setup (plate 2), and finally, a design which has a 5mm radius, which can help if butting the mount up against window trim (plate 3).

The dimensions for the parts are shown below:

In the above pic, the top row of mounts show the basic design dimensions, while the lower row shows the mounts which were designed for my specific window trim, and are designed to allow mounting over the trim (see pics below).  Theses specially contoured spacers will probably not work for most cases, but I'm including them anyway.  The pic below shows the profile of the trim they were designed for.

The profile is included, along with a STEP file.  If you remix this, please keep the same license on the remix, and credit this model as the remix source.

If you find these models useful, please post a like or a comment with some pics of your prints.
