Description

This is a motor mount extension for the AeroScout. I printed it with PLA and standard infill, also tried 100% infill. I didn't see a marked difference.

Parts Needed to Complete:

M3 screw 10mm x4

M3 screw 16mmx4

M3 Nylon lock nut x8

M3 flat washers x4

All parts were purchased at Ace Hardware

4 Lock nuts are glued into the mount using medium CA.

10mm screws are used to attach the mount to the plane. (Note: Motor must be mounted BEFORE mounting to the plane)

16mm screws are used to mount the motor to the mount.

You will also need to drill a hole to pass the motor leads into the fuselage. I used a ½" bit.

I have only tested this with a Bad Ass 2315-2300kv motor with a Bad Ass 50A esc. Also used a Master Airscrew 3 blade CCW  6x3.2
