Description

Problem Statement: I needed to mount a CIOKS DC7 and 8 power supply to my Warwick Rockboard Quad 4.2 and wanted a solution more robust than using hook and loop tape or the RockBoard Plate for Universal Mounting.

Features: When mounted towards the back of the pedalboard there is 10mm+ of clearance underneath the bracket, resulting in no blocked cable through-holes. This leaves plenty of room for clean and short cable routing. If you have any of the RockBoard MiniMods installed for passthrough, the bracket also has sufficient side clearance for most 90 degree DC or ¼" plugs.

Additional Info: To account for the width of the brackets (5mm), I've designed feet that are 5mm taller than the stock feet included with the RockBoard. Recommend printing the feet out of TPU, I used TPU for AMS with good results. Mount with an M4 Washer and M4x15mm Socket Head Cap Screw, can reuse original M4 Nut hardware.

To remove supports, insert a thin and sturdy metal object such as a screwdriver or allen key into the opposite end of the hole and apply pressure to “pop” the entire support out in one piece.

Required Hardware (Per Main Bracket):

  • 8 QTY of M3x5.7 Heat Set Inserts - Install inserts into the 6x 4mm holes on Main Bracket and 2x 4mm holes on one of the Additional Brackets
  • 8 QTY of M3x8 Allen Bolts (AKA Socket Head Cap Screw, can use up to M3x10) - For securing Additional Brackets to Main Bracket
  • 3 QTY of M4x6 Allen Bolts (AKA Socket Head Cap Screw) - For securing CIOKS device to Main Bracket
  • 2 QTY of M5x10 Allen Bolts (AKA Socket Head Cap Screw, can use up to M5x20) - For Securing Fully Assembled Bracket to RockBoard
  • 2 QTY of M5 Nuts

Any major filament/print profile deviations from the provided 3MF have not been tested.
