Description

My 2015 Infiniti q40 (G37x) is an amazing car. All wheel drive, luxurious, fast and fun to drive. The only downside is the small cup holders. You can fit 2 x 12 ounce water bottles and that is it. Anything else does not fit. I looked and could not find any cup holder upgrades for this car. I decided to design my own. I designed it to fit a Hydro Flask 40 ounce water bottle and anything smaller. The inside diameter of the cup holder is 93mm. It ended up being 4 different plates that fit together. See the photos on how to assemble. There is a base that locks into the factory cup holder by the little springy thing that applies pressure to the small water bottles that are iset in the factory cup holders so they don't move around. Then the Riser fits into the base, the 2 pegs fit into the riser and the top connects to the 2 pegs. The Plates are named to reflect the names I just mentioned. It is a long print. You should use PETG, my prototype was PLA+ and the heat of the car in the summer shrunk it, so DO NOT PRINT IN PLA. I have .4 and .6 profiles included. I used eSun PETG. If you have this car, the print time is worth it. I have an automatic transmission and the cup holder is not to bad. DO NOT USE this for Standard manual transmission as it will interfere with shifting.
