Hey there! :) 

What's better than a modular, lightweight, and enchanted chain for decorating clothes and cosplay garments? (The answer is, nothing! ✨)

Designing a chain was an item on my agenda forever, and I was experimenting with designs that 1) would be aesthetically enhancing and 2) modular and forever extendable, so they could be truly transformative in the sense of giving you freedom to DIY whatever gothic & steampunk garment project.

This model could be a collar decoration, a belt, a lanyard, a pants' chain, and whatever else your heart desires! It comes in modules of 6 units, and it's easily up-scalable!

SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE:

• This design is not intended for use on bare skin! It has spikey bits and can irritate if you do so.

Also Super Important Print Suggestions:

• Use a low layer height (0.16 or 0.12) to capture the most details.
• Infill = 0% and Number of walls = 3.
• Lower the printer speed (I lowered the speed of the print profile to a maximum of 120 mm/s for walls and top surface).
• This model doesn't require supports, but I couldn't print it without brims. Please let me know your setting if you were able to.
• Print it with the outer brims of a minimum 5 mm width. If your z-offset is well tuned, you can slightly increase the brim-object gap to 0.15, so it'd be easier to remove.
• Clean the brims carefully, and connect the modules by passing the thinnest part of the small connector through the unit's opening (check out model images)

I hope you enjoy this model as much as I did. It's a chain of many delicate units, so it's a bit trickier to print, but super versatile once you get the hang of it. :)
