🧩 Ball Pyramid Puzzle
This **ball pyramid** is a mechanical brain teaser composed of multiple parts that assemble into a pyramid of **20 spheres**.
The model was specifically designed for 3D printing, with a strong focus on surface quality, strength, and ease of assembly.

The model shown was fully printed in **Bambu PLA Wood** using a **0.12 mm layer height**, resulting in a very smooth surface finish on the spheres.
Standard PLA or equivalent materials can also be used.
🔧 Assembly & Keys
The different **ball sections** are assembled using **keys (dowels)**.
The model consists of **12 parts**, representing the **20 sliced spheres**.
These 12 parts are assembled in pairs to create **6 final pieces**, which are then assembled together to form the complete pyramid.
🔹 Included keys
Two key sizes are provided:
- **Ø 3.6 mm**
- looser fit
- recommended if **gluing** is preferred
- **Ø 3.8 mm**
- light **press-fit**
- allows **glue-free assembly**
⚠️ Important assembly notes
- Parts include **orientation keys**:
👉 it is essential to **match the correct pairs** - Check orientation before inserting the keys
- Carefully **deburr** all parts after printing
- For press-fit assembly, lightly sand the keys if needed
- Assemble gently without forcing
🧱 Included Bases
Two base versions are included:
- 🔹 **Chamfered base**
- 🔹 **Rounded-edge base**
Print the version you prefer.

- Layer height: **0.12 mm**
- Nozzle: **0.4 mm**
- Infill: **35 %**
