Read and Build Blocks

Read and Build Blocks is a fully 3D-printed educational word-building kit designed to help children learn letters, sounds, and early reading skills through hands-on play.
The set combines individual alphabet blocks with a modular storage box and a functional lid that doubles as a word-building surface.

Everything is designed for clean prints, durability, and minimal filament waste.

📦 What’s Included

Modular Storage Box (Print by Parts)

The box is split into multiple pieces — bottom section, side clips, and lid — making it easy to print on any printer and simple to assemble.

Functional Lid with Integrated Bump Grid

The inside of the lid features a grid of small alignment bumps designed to hold the mandatory top plate securely in place.
(Those bumps may look familiar to anyone who has ever snapped small bricks together — purely coincidental, of course.)

Mandatory Press-Fit Top Plate

The top plate snaps firmly onto the bump grid and creates a flat, stable surface for word building.
It fits tightly on its own, but a small drop of glue is recommended if you want it permanently fixed.

Alphabet Blocks

• Each letter is provided as its own individual block
• Letters are extruded 2 mm outward, making them perfect for a single color change at height
• This allows clean two-color letters without filament waste and without needing an AMS
• A blank block is included for custom symbols, accents, or language-specific characters

🎓 Learning Through Play

Read and Build Blocks encourages children to learn naturally by touching, moving, and arranging letters instead of staring at a screen.
