Microphone Tripod – Audyssey / Sound Calibration

A smart and stable tripod for the microphone used in Audyssey sound calibration on Marantz amplifiers – and it works just as well with other amplifiers!

The tripod features a solid base plate with three removable legs that snap in easily for quick and stable setup. The legs are 180 mm long, giving the microphone the perfect height for accurate measurements. The plate also includes a convenient cutout for the microphone cable, keeping your setup neat and tidy.

Could you make a version with longer legs? According to the Audyssey calibration it should be on ear level?

Thank you for your comment! I made it this length so it would be possible to print on all printers. I’ll see if I can redesign the legs so they can be stacked in pairs to make it taller, but I’m a bit worried it might become unstable. Personally, I placed it on a box and also on the backrest.
