Auer Euro Box 80*60*22 cm Caster Holders

These caster holders were specially designed for an AUER Eurobox measuring 80*60*22 cm.
Compatibility with other AUER boxes or Euroboxes cannot be guaranteed.

I first tested with hardware store casters, which worked well enough.

The casters were only about 15mm too high, which led to the recessed version with a screw-axle.

The POM casters were old spare parts from the Ender-3.

Variants

Several versions are available:

• Orientation
  • Casters widthwise (WidthWise; WW)
  • Casters lengthwise (LengthWise; LW)
• Lid closure (in the caster holder)
  • Version for Self-Tapping Screws (BT3; STS)
  • Version for M3 Heat Inserts (HI)

These variants are designed for casters with a 24 mm diameter (V-profile, e.g., from the 3D printer sector).

There are a total of 9 casters under the box.

• Axle: M5 × 20 mm hex screw
• Usage per caster: 1× caster + 1× M5 screw
  • + 2 Heat Inserts + 2 M3*10 screws
    • or + 2* BT3*10mm

Hardware Store Casters

Additionally, there is a version for hardware store casters with 30 mm hole spacing and a 25mm caster diameter.

Notes

• Tested exclusively with the mentioned AUER Eurobox
• No guarantee for fit with different box series
• No long-term test yet, casters have only been under the box, which is used as a cat litter box, for a few days.
