Firefighting Suction Strainer – Pen Holder (Version without side handles)

This version was created in response to a frequent request from the community. Suction strainers are used without side handles in some regions of Germany, which is why this configuration is now available as a separate variant.

This suction strainer is the largest model in the series so far. With an opening 11.5 cm deep and 9.5 cm wide, it offers plenty of space for larger desk items such as scissors or markers. With an overall height of 18 cm and a diameter of 18.5 cm, it becomes a real eye-catcher on any desk or in the fire station.

The model consists of multiple parts that can be printed in different colors. Most components are assembled using snap-fit connections and screw-style locking pins. For long-term stability, the coupling parts must be glued.

For a realistic appearance, I recommend the following colors
(other color combinations are of course possible):

• Black → Bambu Lab PLA Matte Black
• Red → Bambu Lab PLA Matte Dark Red
• Silver → Bambu Lab PLA Basic Silver

For bonding, I use UHU Hart plastic glue (light blue), which has proven to work very well.

In real firefighting operations, a suction strainer protects the pump from debris when drafting water — this version, however, adds organization and firefighter flair to any desk 😄

Printing recommendation:
Please print using the included .3mf file. Some parts are sliced with adaptive layer heights, which significantly improves surface quality — especially on the red housing component.
