2026 Year of the Horse magnetic assembly toy, second release!!!
After five revisions, it's finally the way I like it. Please note that this version strongly requires 5mm (diameter) * 2mm (thickness) magnets!
(If used as a refrigerator magnet, N52 or similar strong magnets are recommended)
Other magnet sizes are difficult to modify. The width and depth are designed for 5*2 magnets. Those capable can scale up the model in Bambu Studio to fit other magnet sizes
Compared to the first version, the thickness has been reduced from 20mm to 6mm, allowing strong magnets to attach to magnetic surfaces with side attraction. An additional magnet has been added to the horse's rear, enabling two deformation methods, and it can also be infinitely stacked according to the magnet positions
As for drawbacks, the thickness of the first version was definitely more geared towards a playable toy and would be more durable than the second version
Extended gameplay:
You can print four sets and stick them on a blackboard as bulletin board borders
The first and second versions of the magnetic attachments are also mutually compatible, meaning you can achieve this effect
