Holder for Vacuum Cleaner Nozzle

The holder is designed for our “Miele Flexible Crevice Tool SFD 20”. The vacuum cleaner nozzle is 60 cm long. So the question was where to put it. 

The nozzle is simply hung into the holder from the front. 

The holder is attached with only one screw in the middle. To prevent the holder from twisting, I have added 2 recesses on the back. Sealing rings of size 18 x 2.5 mm fit exactly into them (available at any hardware store). The recesses are designed so that the rings protrude by about 1 mm. If you now screw the holder to the wall, the rubber rings will be pressed between the wall and the holder, preventing twisting. However, the rings are not absolutely necessary. The holder sits firmly even without them. 

The drill hole is designed for a 4 mm screw. It hangs on my wall with a 4x50 mm screw. 

The holder also fits other nozzles with a similar profile.
