DJI SDR mount x Komodo

This component is a **mounting bracket** designed to house and secure **DJI transmitters in a horizontal (lying down) position**.
It is intended to be mounted **behind a RED Komodo**, where space is limited but a **solid, compact, and reliable** solution is needed

Main Function

The mount is designed to

• Keep the transmitter **aligned and protected**, without stressing connectors or cables

The “lying down” design lowers the center of gravity and reduces the camera's rear bulk, improving balance and practicality on the rig

Construction Features

• **Internal X-braces** on the main side to increase torsional rigidity
• **Countersunk front hole** for the fixing screw, which allows for

Recommended Material

👉 **Rigid PLA**, printed **solid (100% infill)**

• printing solid eliminates any risk of
  • micro-vibrations
  • deformations over time
  • flexing during use

PETG or TPU are not recommended because they would introduce unnecessary elasticity

Recommended Print Orientation

• Print the part **resting on its widest side**
• Layers oriented to **work under compression**, not flexion
• No supports or minimal supports, depending on tolerances
