Description
This project aims to create an extreme FPV speed drone, designed to chase motorcycles and cars at very high speeds, over 250 km/h.
The drone is based on the TBS Source V frame, chosen for its rigidity and stability at high speeds, and is equipped with:
- Integrated DJI O4 video system
- Integrated GPS for tracking, safety, and recovery
- Custom aerodynamic canopy and accessories, designed by me
The canopy and other printed components are designed to:
- improve the drone's aerodynamics
- reduce drag at high speeds
- increase straight-line stability
- perfectly integrate DJI O4 and GPS without penalizing airflow
Every detail of the project is designed for speed flying, where even small aerodynamic improvements make a big difference above 200 km/h.
