I needed a place to hang my shower wand lower on the shower wall, so it is easier to access when we are bathing the kids or the dog (rather than standing in the shower). That was the inspiration for this mount.

As designed, it can be attached to the wall with a single pair of large command strips. Large command strips are rated for 4 pounds per pair. This is more than enough for a shower wand.

A single screw hole is also included, which you can use if you choose. I would be wary of putting a hole in the wall of my shower, which could compromise your effort to keep water INSIDE the shower. But it is your choice.

The bottom of the socket is a bit smaller than the top. The bottom is about 22 mm and the top is about 26 mm. This let's my wand fit snugly. You should measure your wand to make sure it will work for you.
