Dummy 13 X Darth Maul 


DISCLAIMER: This is not an easy model to print. It has a lot of small pieces, the assembly is complicated and depending on your printer it might create a lot of filament waste. Please, keep this in mind before starting this project.

Some time ago I made this Darth Maul action figure from Star Wars: Clone Wars animation series and decided to share it with everyone here. Even though I consider it a difficult print I believe it is worth the effort. The height of the figure is set to 22-23 cm. I advice against scaling down since some joints are already very small (hands) and it will not be functional if scaled down. Hands are printed in TPU so that the Dath Mauls lightsaber and the Darksaber can both fit in both hands. The belt is also printed in TPU so the weist can move. 

This model is another remix of the Dummy 13 with heavy modifications. It is not compatible with other Dummy 13 skeleton pieces. The pieces are modified to fit this model specifically. 
 

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS: If you have a dual nozzle system consider printing the lower body (silver/black) parts separately from upper body (red/black/silver/white) parts. It will generate way less waste and it will be much faster.

If ASA parts do not stick well on the bed try enabling outer brim. I managed to print them without brim but I had a clean PEI bed and applied liquid glue.
