Description
đ Project Overview
I couldn't find a ready-made dispenser that met my aesthetic requirements, so I designed this clean, modern, gravity-feed container myself! This is my first published 3D modeling and printing project, so please don't be too harsh! I hope you find it as useful as I do.
⨠Key Features and Fit
- Pouch Compatibility: Designed specifically for standard 85g cat food pouches.
- Tested Dimensions: My specific pouches measure 92 x 137 mm.
- External Dimensions 150 Ń 106 Ń 250Â
- Internal Dimensions: 102 Ń 146.
- Important Fit Note: The container features rounded interior corners. While the internal dimensions are 102 Ń 146, any pouch that exactly matches those measurements may not fit due to the corner radii. It works best with pouches slightly smaller than the internal space (like the 92x137mm pouches I used).
âď¸ Printing Recommendations
â ď¸ Filament Usage Warning:
This model is quite large and uses a significant amount of filament (at least for me). I highly recommend printing a small section first to test the fit with your specific brand of pouches before committing to the full print.
Filament Saving Option:
I originally printed this with a light setting, but I published the sturdier version. To save filament and time, you can drastically reduce consumption by setting your Wall/Perimeter Count to 1. But it'll a bit hard to remove supports, my print isn't ideal but still quite nice and I'm happy how it turned out.
Supports: Required for the upper rounded sections (the viewing window cutout) to prevent sagging.
