Designed with print reliability in mind, this model is fully user-verified—as shown in the photo—with clean walls, sharp ribs, and consistent results straight off the printer.

Assembly Guide

No traditional assembly required.

  1. Print both components (outer planter + inner insert).
  2. Allow parts to fully cool before removal for best surface finish.
  3. Place the insert inside the outer planter.
  4. Add water to the outer reservoir.
  5. Insert plant into the inner pot with soil.

Done — fully functional self-watering planter.

  • Supports: None required

Recommended Notes:

  • Print upright as provided
  • Use PLA for best surface quality (PETG and PETG HF also work well )
  • Add a brim if scaling above 150% to combat cooling warp
  • Avoid ironing (preserves rib detail)
  • Allow full cooldown before removal
