Adjustable Feet for lightweight furniture
I had to make a bookshelf to hold my AMS units beside my H2D. The shelf sits between two tables that aren’t exactly level and caused the shelf to wobble. These adjustable feet solved that issue and made the shelf rock-solid. To keep the shelf from sliding or scratching the surface the shelf is on, there are TPU Cushion feet that screw into each foot.
The feet measure 40mm in diameter and 20mm in minimal height. The maximum adjustable height, with the TPU cushion feet is 40mm. I secured them using a #8 x ½” pan head wood screw. The feet are supporting about a 40 lb shelf.
When I printed these, I did not have both the TPU Cushions and the PLA+ Adjustable Foot in the same print profile. I combined them into one print profile for ease of use. Please let me know if you experience any print quality issue due to the different filament types in one print profile. For the legs themselves I used El e goo PLA+, and for the 95A TPU cushions I used Overture. These were both printed on my P1S.
Please leave a comment, feedback, suggestions, or even a boost if you're feeling generous. It does help me improve my models and really makes my day. Be kind, I’m old and still sort of new at this. Seriously, thank you for printing my models!
Before you go, if you’d take a look at my other models under my profile I’d appreciate it: GrayGav @JGray_3D
