3D-printed Wall Torch with Copper Pipe Look – Powered by LED Tea Lights

This decorative wall torch in a rustic copper pipe design is a real eye-catcher for indoor and sheltered outdoor areas. It combines the look of classic torches with modern, safe LED technology and is perfect for hallways, patios, balconies, party rooms, themed rooms, or as atmospheric accent lighting.

The model is fully optimized for 3D printing and deliberately designed so that no electrical wiring, cabling, or heat-generating components are necessary.

Design & Construction

The wall torch consists of several well-coordinated components:

• Copper Pipe Look
  The entire pipe system is designed in the style of real copper pipes – including bends, sockets, and transitions. Printed from Copper PLA, it creates a realistic, warm metallic appearance that looks particularly authentic in indirect light.
• Flame Attachments from Transparent Orange PLA
  The flames are purely decorative and are simply placed on top of the torch. They are not permanently glued and can be removed or replaced at any time. The transparent orange filament softly diffuses the light of the LED tea lights and creates a convincing flame effect.

Lighting with LED Tea Lights

The torch is operated exclusively with standard LED tea lights:

• No power connection required
• No heat generation
• Safe for living rooms, children's rooms, or decorations
• LED tea light is simply inserted into the torch head
• Flame is then only placed on top, not glued

LED tea lights with flickering warm light are recommended to enhance the torch look.

Material Recommendation

For the best result, the following materials are recommended:

• Copper PLA for all pipe and holder parts
  → provides a metallic look without post-processing
• Transparent Orange PLA for the flames
  → optimal light transmission and realistic color effect.

Of course, the model can also be printed with other colors or materials and customized (e.g., bronze, gold, or black look).

Wall Mounting

The wall mounting is deliberately kept simple and stable:

• The mounting plates are installed from behind
• Mounting is done with one standard small screw per plate
• Suitable for wood, anchors in stone, or drywall (depending on the screw)

This solution makes the torch appear to float and look very neat on the wall.
