Description

Prank your friends with Clear PETG (or white PLA looks good too).  It is a fake crack pattern designed to fit in a corner of a phone screen.

Print tips:

  • If possible, dry your PETG Clear filament before printing
  • Print is only 3 layers and 0.28mm thick so carefully scrap the edges until you can remove the print. it will look super clear until it comes off the plate then it will get more hazy white

  • Print is designed with one edge cut to the shape of the bezel corner so move position it in the corner for optimal effect
  • If the crack gets distorted while removing and won't lay flat you can use a heat gun to make it flat again. Plate 2 is really delicate and likely to need this procedure

Have fun!

*12/13/2025 Adding some filament testing photos provided by @EyeOutThere shown below:  “EyeOutThere: PLA actually worked better than PETG for me. PLA is a little more naturally translucent and it was easier to remove from the print bed. This picture is White PLA Basic, Grey PETG-HF, White PETG-HT, from top to bottom.”
