I was fed up with this proprietary, overpriced, and impossible-to-find power supply, so I created this low-cost USB-C mod

However, you will need to desolder the old power supply and cut the internal casing, as the connector is molded into it. Since it's the internal casing, it's invisible from the outside

I use this type of female USB-C socket to draw 5 V: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c32YENZx

Then, I boost the 5 V to 10 V using an MT3608 step-up module: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c3K5xwkV

I then connect the 10 V to D1, the 5 V to D2, and the ground (GND) to the central pin of IC3. I use 22 AWG wire for this

To secure the support, I use a screw from underneath and a Rilsan-type cable tie. I also added hot glue around the USB-C port to prevent it from moving

When used with a CD, the console's consumption did not exceed 2.2 A. However, I recommend a good quality USB power supply of at least 5 V / 3 A

If the console does not receive at least 5.2 V, the CD will not start. If you use a poor quality power supply, there will be image interference
