Description
This 3D printable Turboprop Engine is inspired by the legendary PT6E.
It's by far my most ambitious project yet!
Featuring a 4:1 planetary gearbox, spinning compressor stages, turbines, and accessory gear train.
Instructions & Hardware
Written and video instructions are available below. I recommend having a look into both.
The full BOM and required tools are available in the written instructions and on my website.
For easy hardware sourcing, you can order Hardware Kits on my website.
If you plan on adding the constant speed propeller, do not permanently attach the prop shaft!
Add-ons & Extras
- The Constant Speed Propeller is finally live!
- Add the Exhaust Stack to the engine for a more complete package.
- Hang your engine like in the first image using these Attachment Points.
- The engine plaque is uploaded separately to avoid any issues with brands.
I designed a small M2.5 wrench to help with assembly.
