Sometimes you simply need components for projects that are not available for purchase. Therefore, I developed this fully customizable model to solve my - and hopefully your - problems.
A bend is generated where you can freely configure the diameters and the bending radius.
Explanation of Parameters
- ID (inner diameter)
- Description: Diameter of the inner opening
- Default value: 50 mm
- Effect: Determines the inner diameter of the bend
- OD (outer diameter)
- Description: Diameter of the outer pipe
- Default value: 50 mm
- Effect: Determines the outer diameter of the bend
- R bend (Bending Radius)
- Description: Radius of the bend
- Default value: 50 mm
- Effect: The smaller the bending radius, the tighter the curve of the bend. I would not make this smaller than the outer diameter without good reason.
- SEG L
- Description: Length of the straight inlets and outlets of the bend
- Default value: 50 mm
- Effect: determines the length of the two straight sections before the bend begins. These are of identical length in this model.
Should one side be shorter, I recommend inserting a negative cylinder in BambuStudio and manually shortening one side.
The other parameters are purely technical and can be ignored. They are explained in the code for the curious.
