If you are a P1S user, with proper sealing, direct connection of the purifier to the machine's built-in exhaust system can also provide good purification
However, it is still recommended to use an external power supply + third-party fan for enhancement to prevent exhaust gas leakage

Hi, I have started ordering and printing the parts for Ventilation solution 2. For the moment I printed the poop bin in PETG. It came perfect, thanks for the model.
I have one question about solution 2: would the fan and the air exhausted purifaction be on during the whole printing operations? Or since the power comes from the printer, I would only be able to use the fan/purifier at the end of each print? Thanks again for the amazing work!
The current machine algorithm adjusts the speed during printing based on the chamber temperature and can also extract waste gas after printing high-temperature materials. Under normal conditions (printing PLA), it runs at 40%, but this is not enough to create a complete negative pressure, and the fan speed needs to be increased in the machine/app. Perhaps future firmware updates will support more features

since I use the original P2s back panel(upgraded one) with the fan attached to the back, I feel like the airflow wasn’t enough and needed to make the air cleaner. so I added dual fan holder to it with remote switch so that I can turn it on when needed.
You can install it without the circuit board without a significant impact as the ventilation is sufficient and you can place the interface against the wall to conceal it
I would like to know that too @ms520 , if I go route #2 and add the Xiaomi Air Purifier Filter will this allow me to capture all VOCs while printing ABS/ASA. I'm in a very small space where I don't have access to outside to filter out VOCs
