Majestic Nidoking (Special Chapter Stance Ver.)

I am an old Pokemon player who has been with the series since the original Red and Green versions.

In the Kanto region made of pixels, although the starter Pokemon and legendary Pokemon were always the most dazzling presences, there was always a spot reserved for it in my team—Nidoking.

In today's era where legendary Pokemon are everywhere and the battle environment is intensely competitive, in terms of base stats, it can't compare to pseudo-legendaries; in terms of popularity, it doesn't even rank. It could even be said that it has never truly been a sensation.

However, being strong is temporary, but being cool is for life!

For me, Nidoking represents a pure, wild sense of power. Its hard purple skin, aggressive spikes, and iconic horn simply exude dominance. I still remember in an era when TMs were exceptionally rare, although it wasn't particularly bulky, with its incredibly diverse move pool—able to learn Surf, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Earthquake—it always became the reliable 'jack-of-all-trades' with the widest attack coverage in the team.

This unique sentiment is irreplaceable by many modern Pokemon.

To pay tribute to this initial emotion, I decided to model it myself. The pose inspiration for this Nidoking model comes from the 'Special Chapter' (Pokemon Adventures). I tried to capture the tense and wild battle moments from the manga, making it look not just like a static figurine, but a warrior ready to roar and unleash 'Earth Power' at any moment!
