Description

Cantilever Gravity Hook – Self-Stabilizing Over-Edge Hanger

Boost Me (for free)

Boost the rocket-science-engineer 👉👈

This cleverly engineered hook uses gravity to stabilize itself on the edge of a desk, shelf, or workbench—no screws, clamps, or adhesive required. Its offset center of mass creates a natural counterbalance, allowing the hook to hang securely while carrying everyday items. Simple, clean, and practical, it’s perfect for organizing tools, bags, cables, keys, or workshop accessories.

The desk in the photo is ~33mm thick, the hook can handle desks with a maximum thickness of 60mm.

Print and plug the hook upside down in the base, rotate it down and finished!

  • Self-balancing design: The center of mass sits below the contact point, creating a stabilizing moment that keeps the hook in place even under load.
  • Tool-free installation: Just place it over any edge and it’s ready to use. Removes instantly without leaving marks—ideal for rentals or temporary setups.
  • Universal fit: Works on tables, shelves, kitchen counters, workbenches, and more.
  • Customizable: Easily scaled or modified for different edge thicknesses.
  • Planing to add different types of hooks!

Always open to suggestions for improvement and ideas!
