Description
Bring a piece of classic scandinavian christmas tradition into your home with this Yule Goat (Julbock).
Designed to mimic the traditional straw craftsmanship known as “halmbock”, this model features straw textured surface detailing that looks incredibly realistic when printed in wood or beige filament. Unlike the traditional standing goats, this one is posed sitting down like a dog, making it a sturdy and unique decoration for your mantle, shelf, or Christmas table. Measures 12 cm tall.
Whether you are from Sweden or just love nordic festive decor, this goat is the perfect print to celebrate the holidays!
Print Settings:
- Material: Wood PLA (highly recommended!) or Matte Beige/Khaki PLA.
- Nozzle: 0.4mm works great).
- Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.16mm (Lower layer heights help the straw texture pop).
- Infill: 5-15% Gyroid (The model is solid enough that high infill isn't needed).
- Supports: Use Tree Supports in Bambu Studio. They are easier to remove and leave fewer marks on the textured surface.
- Walls/Perimeters: 2 or 3 walls.
Post-Processing Tip:
For maximum authenticity, tie a small red ribbon around the goat's neck or horns after printing. It adds that final touch of Swedish Christmas spirit!
