1:4 reducer for Nema 17 stepper motor

I decided to create my own version of a planetary reducer for a NEMA 17, it has a 1:4 reduction ratio, ideal for learning and understanding its operation.

It features an output shaft where an M8 screw nut can be embedded.

I recommend putting grease in the casing containing the gears to extend their life.

Bill of Materials

4 TCEI M3x8 screws (to attach the ring gear to the motor)

10 TCEI M4x25 screws (for the carrier)

10 TCEI M4x16 screws (for the outer bearing cap)

10 M4 nuts (for the carrier and the cap)

10 M4 screw washers

1 bearing 6805 2Z

1 M8 nut to embed in the shaft
