16-color RGBW (2pcs) - KC007

Description

A  (rather short) tale of curiosity, unintended theft, and father–son negotiations worthy of a dungeon run.

I originally bought a set of KC007 puck lights because I had a “brilliant idea” for a lamp. You know, one of those ideas you’re 100% sure you’ll execute… eventually. But before I even got the chance to pretend I was working on it, my son commandeered the lights and made them his new favorite toy. So much for the lamp.

Time passed. The idea faded. Then inspiration struck from a different direction: Darkest Dungeon (i'm a die-hard fan).
I decided it was time to borrow (let’s be honest: temporarily reclaim) my KC007 lights and forge a mighty torch worthy of the Ancestors.

I designed it. I printed it. I triumphantly handed two torches to my kid, who instantly took full ownership as if they always belonged to him.

A few days later I stumbled upon a MakerWorld contest…
…for a torch model.
Of course!

There was only one obstacle: I had to once again negotiate access to the torches. Let’s just say it took longer than the print itself, and possibly involved snacks.

But victory was mine! And now, the torch can be yours too.

Features

  • Powered by KC007 RGBW puck lights
  • No AMS required, all parts print separately
  • Simple assembly
  • Adds +10 Light, +3 Stress Resist, and +100 Style

Assembly

Assembly is very straightforward. All printed parts slot together cleanly, and you simply bond them with CA glue. The KC007 light fits inside perfectly without any tools or additional adhesives.
