Mills have played an important role in the long river of human civilization's development. Mills appeared in China as early as the Neolithic Age, and they remain an indispensable part of people's lives to this day.
The original intention of designing this mill was to allow children to observe the rotation of gears, experience the fun of mechanical transmission, and develop their hands-on ability. Opening the top cover reveals the gears in motion, and through the doors and windows, one can see the millstone turning.
This windmill's transmission structure has very low resistance and operates extremely smoothly. It can be turned quickly with a manual crank, or by blowing a fan at the blades. It's also a great option to take outdoors when it's windy. Children will be delighted to see the blades spin! I've already witnessed the surprised moments of my three children 😀.
This windmill can be assembled without a single drop of glue and can be repeatedly disassembled and reassembled, making it an excellent teaching aid for children to learn about gears, or a beautiful home decoration.

We have conducted numerous assembly fit tests. The plates are pre-plated by color, and you can even print from your phone. It is recommended to use PETG for printing shafts, blades, and gears – these transmission structures – while using PLA for other external parts!
Before printing, please remember to decide which filament to use for printing the model. We hope everyone likes this big guy.

TIPS:
1. Ensure good bed adhesion for the build plate; clean it thoroughly with dish soap or use a build plate with strong adhesion;
2. The current configuration uses PLA Basic and PLA Matte filament. If you need to switch to other types of filament (PLA Silk / PLA Marble / wood) or PETG for printing, please remember to reslice and adjust in Bambu Studio on your computer and ensure good bed adhesion.
