Description

***Update***

Thanks to your feedback I have added two new print profiles to fix some issues that some of you were experiencing with the legs coming off while printing.

V2 - The model is placed lower on the plate so it clips the toes, this way supports are no longer made, nor overhangs, which both gave the model weak adhesion on the legs and potentially being knocked off while printing. This model should not be moved, especially up or down in regards to the print plate!

V3 - The “Upside Down” model with a mix of automatic and manually added supports. This will allow full leg printing with all details such as toes and claws. This model can also be moved on the plate and scaled without experiencing the problems of V1 or V2

Unleash the terror of the Upside Down with this detailed 3D model of the Demodog, the mid-stage form of the Demogorgon seen in Stranger Things. Sculpted to capture its canine posture, open petal-like mouth, and creature-like anatomy, this figurine brings one of the series’ most iconic monsters right to your shelf.

Perfect for fans of the show, creature design enthusiasts, or anyone building a Stranger Things display. Pair it with your Demogorgon, Demobat, and Vecna models for the ultimate Upside Down collection.

Then you first spray the lower tissue, usually blue brown green. Then you use multiple layers of fx Silicone, first transparent and then with red yellow particles, to build up a certain depth of skin. The pigments blur the paint and it can still be seen washed out. And then you can also add accents with the other color pigments. It's best to just read up on fx Studios, which also produce props. It's a lot of fun to do something like this, but it's not the cheapest (fx Silicone)

You sister has impressive painting skills, only if she would painted my K-pop characters on which I did a terrible job myself :) I've also checked her insta, now she has a new follower. Also thank you for the feedback and pictures, I highly appreciate taking your time to do that.

Hahaha, that is the most radical picture ever! What print profile did you use? The V1 makes some trouble on some printer - filament combinations, the V2 should work better as it has "clipped" toes, while the V3 should print trouble free.

I think that the V3 should also resolve the tail issue.

Great model in effect, but I have a problem with the left front leg shifting every time. I thought the first time there was a printing issue, but the same result the second time... Printed with X1C, designer model 0.2mm layer, 3 walls, 15% infill, the only modification made is coloring the mouth red. No issues or error messages during slicing... I am rather new to this, and I don't understand the problem, can anyone help me

That is very strange! Can you check how the model looks when you slice it?

Yes, really very strange, isn't it? I showed what the slicing looked like, and no visible issues... I don't understand... Please review it here:

That is very weird! Didn't it have a support there? You should try the V3 print profile, it's better tuned and easier for the printer to make. Just be sure to have a clean plate, to not disable auto leveling and to have proper filament settings (and dry).

Nice paint job, I also painted mine with withe teeth. It's a very tedious job to add the teeth.

pretty solid. Little issue with the underside. I think a support mightve failed. Aside from that, very nice print.

Looks great in red! Also the V3 profile should fix the underside issues as well.
