Description

=== ENGLISH VERSION + WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ===

Every Christmas in Denmark (and most of our Scandinavian neighbour countries), families battle for glory in the most prestigious competition known to mankind: Finding the single whole almond hidden in a bowl of dessert.

The winner usually receives a modest prize… and more importantly: eternal bragging rights.

Some of us take this so seriously that a simple “congratulations” or a piece of candy isn’t enough.

NO!

The champion deserves a full 3D-printed trophy to immortalise their victory. A trophy so magnificent that it will guarantee a place in the great halls of Valhalla. That is what this is about.

You can read more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risalamande

The perfect almond-gift is here!

It simply doesn’t get any better than when grandpa proudly lifts the trophy because, once again, he managed to find the almond and steal the prize from the kids and grandkids.

This trophy is loosely inspired by sports trophies, because let’s be honest… almond-hunting is way tougher than even the most demanding Olympic events. It also requires just as much intense year-round training if you want even the slightest chance of winning anything at all.

And this year, there’s definitely something to look forward to!

A unique trophy that, at 16 cm tall, will forever place the winner on a pedestal and grant them the right to brag freely for the next 12 months.

  • The model is 5×5×16 cm, but feel free to scale it if you think 16 cm is too short (for the record… it’s above average).
  • The print profile uses lightning infill. That gives you a fast print and uses less filament, but it also makes the model a bit light. If you want it to feel more premium, 15% infill works really well.
  • If you don’t have an AMS, you can split the model into separate objects in your slicer, print them individually, and glue them together afterwards.
  • You don’t need to use a prime tower. It’s disabled in the profile.
  • There are two nameplates included: one with “extruding” text, and one blank so you can add your own text in the slicer.

I am having an issue with the front sign. The slicer for some reason is cutting part of the E A and F on the top text. Is it possible to use a different font? I have tried to mess around with a few settings, but nothing happens, and i can say, it does not print it with those 3 parts, which doesnt make any sense to me. Apart from this, the model is great, but i dont know what is happening here.

I found that by making the model 9% bigger, it will add the missing parts of the sign.

yes. You can use the profile without text and add your own text in the slicer. You can also try enabling detect thin walls. That might solve the issue you are having.

Try detect thin walls if that doesn't help, you can easily add text on the blank plate from bambu studio :)

Oh wow. Not really sure what could cause that. It's probably too late now, but you could try with a different infil.
