Syringe | Funtional

This is a fully functional syringe — printed as a fun proof of concept.
It works the same way as an injection-molded syringe, just a bit louder and less smooth because of the layer lines. 😄💥

The plunger expands the barrel slightly to create the seal, which is why you should:

🔧 Print Tips
• Print both parts in the same orientation
Lubricate the plunger before first use (water/oil/grease)
• Move it up/down a few times so it can break in
• When drawing water, pull slowly to avoid air slipping past

⚠️ Disclaimer
To achieve a proper seal, the barrel wall is designed thin enough to flex, this means the barrel is fragile, so handle it with care.

🎨 Materials
PLA works great
Transparent PETG for the barrel makes it look realistic and lets you see the liquid inside 👀💧

A fun and surprisingly capable little engineering experiment 🚀

Just keep in mind: it won't perform as well as a real injection-molded syringe.

had to resize the parts because by default, the plunger is bigger than the hole it’s meant to fit in.

you think this would work with epoxy, or is it more of a working concept that is more for fun?

It works with Water, so i think epoxy is fine too

the size of the hole and the second part are inaccurate ( you can't pit one part intro the other )

great idea, works with water for sure. scaling it? check tolerances.

The piston is too big and doesn't fit. The design is good but needs refinement
