Description

DUAL LID BEYBLADE DECK CASE (GUNDAM-THEMED VERSION)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE PRINTING & ASSEMBLY

This guide contains all necessary details for preparing, printing, and assembling the Dual Lid Beyblade Deck Case. Follow each instruction carefully to ensure proper fit and durability.

Instructions:

For this model you will be needing the following hardware:

  • 4x 5x3mm magnets
  • 8x m2x4mm countersunk screws (recommended type of screw)

Hinge Information

  • Hinges are replaceable and designed to snap-fit into the main body.
  • When tightening the screws, do not overtighten—doing so may cause the lid sides to crack.
  • Recommended materials for printing the hinges:
    • PETG, ABS, or ASA (for strength)
    • PLA is acceptable, as hinges can be easily reprinted and replaced in the future.
  • The lids include friction-fit screw holes designed specifically for the hinge screws.

Lid Printing Information

  • Supports are recommended under the top design, preferably snug-type supports.
  • The recommended Top Z-Distance for supports is 0.1–0.15 mm, depending on printer accuracy. This minimizes sagging under the top decorative layer.
  • Example configuration:
    • Lids printed using Elegoo Centauri Carbon PETG
    • Top Z-distance: 0.14 mm

Decoration Information

  • All decorative pieces include pre-sized slots in the main model.
  • Use a small amount of super glue to attach the decorations.
  • All clearances are pre-adjusted so the parts slot in cleanly without excessive force.

Tolerances & Printing Notes

  • Tolerances may vary depending on the printer and slicer settings.
  • The design already includes adjusted clearances, but fine-tuning may still be needed.
  • For printers like the Bambu Lab P1S, an XY Compensation of −0.08 mm to −0.09 mm works well for accurate fitting.

The face part bleeds to the white because a partial red was printed then covered with white filament. Also, why aren't to colors uniformly printed on same level of layers? This is the slot for the gundam face. It's crooked too. Is this the final design by any chance?
