This massive 15-inch (380mm) glowing snowman is designed to deliver big winter vibes while being easy to print, fast, filament friendly, and AMS-free. It beautifully diffuses light from the LED lamp kit thanks to vase mode's seamless surface quality. It’s a perfect mix of nostalgic charm, modern design, and light up fun!

🧵Printing Notes

Snowman body and hat body, and light diffusion column all print in vase mode for seamless light diffusion.
Everything else prints using standard printing. See print profile for details.
I do not recommend scaling the model as pieces may not fit properly if scaled up/down.
LED base 3D model is from the Bambu LED Lamp Kit documentation, with minor adjustments to fit this design.

I love this little (big) guy! I printed it across my A1 minis and my P1S to get it done faster. Super easy assembly, and I absolutely love that the parts separate, I can switch out hat color and stuff if I decide not to glue everything together.

Looking awesome! A mod you could do if you want more light is make an elevated stand for a second tea light to light up the top portion.

Awesome design. I made a bigger one for my H2D, scaled to 130% or about 500mm tall. The Bambu lamp kit kinda struggles with that height but it still works I think. I needed to make a new lamp holder for the bottom of it with a taller, less thick diffuser (~160mm tall and 0.8 thick). But I love it, and it really didn't need much tweaking to make it bigger.

Wow, that is a truly giant! I can provide an official scaled up version for H2 series so you can print the diffuser based on what I have calculated to be a good height/thickness.

with 0.8mm nozzle and 1.5 layer width it looks pretty nice and it actually feels really tough so I guess it won't snap like 0.8 version

This print was cool in so many ways. It was so easy to print in individual pieces, and I absolutely love vase mode for a semi-translucent effect. My A1 handled it without a hitch. The end product is undeniably adorable, and the fact that you can change out his hat and scarf, taking him from Christmas all the way through winter is one of the best features.
