Cable Gland Roof for PV/Solar Cables 8x4mm2

This is a cable gland / entry for e.g. photovoltaic cables or similar through the roof and sarking membrane.

Through the lid with 8 holes, cables up to 6mm diameter (equivalent to 4mm2) can be routed, for example, to connect 4 PV panels individually.

It is possible with this gland to lay a cable without kinking or crushing, thus not damaging the wires or insulation.

The base plate can be secured with 4 screws, as countersunk holes of 4.6mm are provided.

Furthermore, the cable routing can be continued with a protective tube, as the outer diameter of the tube is 29mm.

It is recommended to print in PETG or similar, as it can get over 45°C hot under roof tiles and PLA becomes soft at higher temperatures.

Thank you, and please contact me with any questions or comments. ;)
