[LED MOD] Arasaka Thermal Katana CyberPunk 2077

This is a modification of a single element of the Arasaka Thermal Katana, allowing the LED cable to be routed from the handle. 

The 3mm LED strip fits into the element, giving it a seamless appearance. 

Useful for cosplaying as a power bank.
 

🛠 Instruction:

I use a 3mm LED strip 5V LINK
for a katana, about 100 cm is enough

• Attach the LED as shown in the image blue color, but leave about 10cm exposed in front of the holder. 
   
• Trim the LED with scissors so that the end fits inside the katana. (The LED strip has markings for cutting.) 
   
• Pull the male USB cables through the hole on the side toward the LED strip. 
   
• Solder the cables with a soldering iron: 
  - Red to 5V+ 
  - Black to 5V- 
   
• Connect the USB to the power bank to test if everything works. 
   
• If ok secure the connection (heat shrink wrap, insulating tape, cyanoacrylate). 
   
• Pull the USB cable to fit the LED strip inside the katana and glue it all the way in. 
   
• Done :)
