It's almost going to happen! 

 

Here is an identical replica of an Oscar found at American ceremonies.

 

I currently have 2 profiles:

  • The perfect 34cm replica for H2# printers.
  • The slightly reduced 31cm replica for P1/P2 printers.

All the details are there! The base is true to the original, the statuette is smoothed and as close as possible to the real thing, right down to the engraving at its base.

 

I recommend printing the base in PETG for its glossy effect, or in black PLA Silk. As for the statuette, a gold PLA Silk will suit it best! The 2 parts are to be glued together.

 

Regarding the plaque, it is very thin to fit perfectly on the base with a little glue. (I advise placing it on your printer's build plate before gluing it, at 70 degrees, to heat it a little, so that it perfectly conforms to the curves of the base)

Simply modify the 4 lines of characters on Bambu Studio to customize it as you wish!

Thank you for this. it turned out great. Just one question from a newbie. I printed it and the statue piece is solid at the bottom. Should it have had a hole at the bottom to fit onto the base or is the whole expected to be cut out after?
