Description

Achieve flawless prints from the very first layer! The first layer is the foundation of every 3D print – a bad one causes warping, poor adhesion, elephant’s foot, or total failure. This fully customizable single-layer test lets you dial in your settings faster and more reliably than ever.

Key features:

  • Fully parametric: set your exact bed size (works for Bambu Lab, Voron, Creality, Prusa, etc.) and any first layer height (0.1 mm to 0.4 mm or whatever you need)
  • Prints just one layer (fast + almost zero filament)
  • Large coverage area to reveal bed leveling issues, hot spots, adhesion problems, and live Z offset errors in one quick test
  • Clear visual zones so you instantly see where the nozzle is too close, too far, or where adhesion fails
  • Perfect for testing new filaments, new beds, nozzle changes, or after re-leveling

Stop guessing with tiny squares or sparse lines – print a complete first-layer map and get your printer perfectly dialed in before wasting filament on full prints.

Print it, inspect it, adjust your Z offset or bed cleanliness and enjoy perfect first layers every time! 🚀

How it works:

  1. open the customizable file in makerworld
  2. set length and width according to your build plate (for example 256x256 for A1 etc)*
  3. set the layer height (for example 0.20mm - the default for 0.4 nozzles)*
  4. print, check and adjust as necessary.

*The dimensions in the customizable file are in millimeters.
