Snow Brick Maker – Complete Winter Building Set

Turn fresh snow into building blocks.
This winter playset lets you quickly create neat, repeatable snow bricks for forts, walls, towers or any wild idea your kids come up with.

The set includes a reinforced rectangular mold on stable legs, a snow scoop, a compacting hammer and a smoothing plate. The mold has a textured outer surface for a secure grip in gloves and extra rigidity, so the bricks come out dense, with sharp edges and consistent size. All parts are designed for everyday use in cold weather and print cleanly on most FDM printers.
The set really shines when printed at its native scale on printers of the H2S, H2D and H2C series.

How to use

  1. Place the mold on the snow with the open side up.
  2. Fill it loosely with snow using the scoop.
  3. Compact the snow with the hammer, adding a bit more if needed.
  4. Level the surface with the smoothing plate.
  5. Lift the mold by the legs and carefully slide out the finished brick.

Repeat the process and you will quickly get a stack of identical snow bricks, ready for building a fort, an igloo wall or a whole winter city. Kid-friendly, sturdy and very satisfying to use for both children and adults.

Included parts:

  • Snow brick mold with elevated stand
  • Snow scoop with drainage holes
  • Compacting hammer
  • Smoothing/pressing plate
  • Hex-shaped tamping accessories

Recommended print settings:

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 35–50%
  • Supports: Not required for most parts
  • Do not touch the profile print settings!!!

This model is perfect for winter activities, family play, and outdoor builds. Strong, simple, functional — a fun toolset to turn fresh snow into creative construction!

#1: why does the scooper have holes??? doesnt that defeat the whole point of a scooper?? #2: i HEAVILY suspect that these thumbnails are AI generated

If one day an AI starts inventing sets like this, tuning real print profiles and taking actual photos that clearly show the model’s functionality, it will definitely make the tech news. In this case these are just photos of a real, printed model, and using polished images on MakerWorld does not break any rules and certainly does not cancel the work put into the geometry, printability and functionality of the design.

it probably has holes for the same reason a hundred other scoopers have holes. to allow liquid to escape and to make it easier to unscoop what you scooped by allowing air in. so what if the thumbnails are AI if the print profile is not?

Hi Dear! #1: For the physics of the object to work correctly, you need to understand the basics. If you start learning 3D modeling, questions like this should no longer appear. Thank you! #2: Download, print, and study the model. It’s easy to leave comments without proper arguments. Thank you!

People saying these images are AI never saw things properly photographed.

he’s admitted to using AI. he also uses it on his other models. you’re meat-riding for some reason?

Whole profile is basically AI, surprised @BambuLab lets these models win regardless

I’m genuinely confused by this claim. How exactly do you imagine a print profile being “generated by AI”? From a technical standpoint, that statement makes no sense. I am fully familiar with the platform’s rules. AI usage is not prohibited for elements such as model covers or presentation visuals. At the same time, all photographs shown in the profile are real. The rules explicitly prohibit using AI-generated images to represent the print profile itself, which is not the case here. At this point, it seems that any well-shot photograph is being labeled as “AI” without evidence. Not everything that looks polished or professionally photographed is AI-generated, and there is no violation of the rules in this instance.

Printed the entire set, all parts came out perfectly! According to the forecast, we're getting snow next week and I'm already fully prepared Planning to organize a speed-building competition with friends to see who can build snow castles the fastest. I'll be the best-equipped person in the neighborhood now 😄

Thank you very much! Be careful with the building dimensions, otherwise we'll have to register the houses as residential space :D

Thank you so much!!!! The best size would of course be if everyone on this planet had H2D or H2S or H2C printers.

Well designed, my snow was too dry for proper brick. that’s in Mother Nature, so we will wait for the right conditions. Ran out of black, so switched colors and it looks accidentally awesome. The kids still loved it!

the supports on the groove are interesting. probably would have been easier for me if I had waited for the whole thing to cool more, looking forward to trying this later. thank you for sharing this!

Thank you for pointing this out. I have changed the print profile. Bridges already print well without supports.
